When summertime comes to Colorado, our team is all about getting outside to enjoy the nice weather. My husband, Andrew, who also consults on projects and partners with Elevation Interiors as the general contractor, enjoys playing a round of golf to spend time in the great outdoors. Colorado golf courses can be quite unique, as they are usually integrated right into the rocky and mountainous terrain of our beautiful state. Take a look at some of the courses that stand out most to Andrew below.
Arrowhead Golf Club - Roxborough Park, Southwest Denver
Located in Roxborough Park at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Arrowhead Golf Club offers one of the most scenic golfing experiences in Colorado. Every hole is complemented by blue sky, lush greenery, and unique red rock formations, but the real showstopper is the 13th hole. The par 3 hole drops dramatically, providing a thrilling challenge and a stunning backdrop. It's a must-see, and a must-play, for anyone who appreciates time in nature as much as the game itself.

Keystone Ranch Course - Keystone
If you’re looking for a great links course with the added benefit of mild weather, Keystone Ranch Course is the place to be. It features a 36-hole, par 72 course on a historic ranch, which is punctuated by pine trees, sage meadows, and a nine-acre lake. Unlike Colorado’s mountain courses, Keystone Ranch is set in a mountain valley, so it is relatively level. This makes it accessible and enjoyable for players of all skill levels.

City Park Golf Course - Downtown Denver
City Park Golf Course is a gem that is known for its exceptional golfing and panoramic skyline views. The 18-hole course is in top-notch condition, as it was recently redesigned and awarded LEED Gold certification for environmental design. Its prime location in the heart of downtown Denver provides easy access and spectacular views. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or you’re just starting out, there is something for everyone with this innovative course design.

Although we’re already well into the summer season, there’s no time like the present to get outside for a game of golf. We highly recommend trying out these Colorado golf courses before the weather cools down again. Between Andrew’s favorite courses and the many other activities that Colorado offers, countless days of outdoor entertainment await!
